These are great speakers. I bought them for a trip that I was taking and just the portability alone sold me, but when I connected them to my DMC 8280 I was supprised at the great sound that came from these little speakers. Having the extra connectors was also a great help when I took them on a cruise (needed the 220 converter).

Very Nice Speakers. Nice range on such small boxes. Perfect portability solution w/ respectable sound. Runs on batteries or power outlet, 2yr warranty. Would recommend.

These little speakers are awesome! I have a 20GB iPod with an iSkin cover. I didn't want to buy speakers that I had to take the skin off to use, so I bought the IM4. I was using these in the back yard and I had to turn them down so I didn't bother the neighbours. The flat base to rest the iPod on is a big plus. Lastly the IM4s have metal grills that protect the cones (something the other Altec Lansing portables don't have).
